Classes Saturdays March-April - Choose Date/Class in Drop Down

If you've wanted to learn how to make jewellery using beads, wire and gems this is the class for you.  We offered all 6 weeks as one course but this is your chance to sign up for individual classes instead if you are not able to attend all 6.

We will be meeting up with Crissy every Saturday 10:00am-12:00pm

Each week will introduce a new technique where you will make one piece of jewellery.  The goal of this class is to give you enough practice, ideas and new skills so you will be able to understand how to use the different wire, threads and metal parts so you can let your imagination create without hassle with trying to figure out "how to end this". Or how to "attach that" 

The class fee includes all the supplies/beads needed to make your class project, 2 hours per Saturday of instruction and help, use of our tools.  We will have choices for beads/findings for each class.  If you wish to navigate away from the choices we offer for any classes and use either your own beads or prefer to buy something different in the store to aid your design you are welcome to do so.  

Here is the schedule:

Week 1 - March 9 - Macrame bracelet (Taught by Jes) learning a new knot pattern.  You will create a bracelet and have a choice to add in a charm or semi-precious chip beads. 

Week 2 - March 16 - Chainmaille Bracelet with Seed Beads -Learn this beginner pattern with Crissy.  A super fun and satisfying completed project

Week 3 - March 23 - Tree Of Life Pendant - Make a wire wrapped pendant using copper.  We will also go thru the process to patina your pieces to give it a rustic look.  YOU MUST bring your own flat stone or purchase one at the store for this class.   

Week 4 - March 31st Beaded Choker - with this project you will learn about the processes of using silk beading thread and properly ending them off to reduce chances of breaking and fraying.

Week 5 - April 6 - Making Links to embellish an infinity chain necklace.  A beautiful opportunity to make a long over the head necklace using wire wire to complete beaded links and attach to make a versatile chain necklace

Week 6 - April 13 - Open Studio Class time.  Bring in your unfinished projects for help or start something new.  This class is from 10am-11:30am as we will have an intermediate class for a chainmaille box chain starting at 12pm this day which you can sign up for If you wish separately.  

On Week 6 we have an optional additional class you can add on.  An intermediate box chain chainmaille class.  Please add this to cart separately if you wish to attend this class.  It is from 12pm-3pm on April 13th all supplies included

These are adult-only class for students 16yrs of age or older.  If you bring your own tools be sure to use coloured tape or labels so you can identify them.
