Kumihimo Bracelet Class - Saturday March 31st - Iguana Beads - Cambridge, ON
Learn how to use the Kumihimo wheel in this class using rattail - a super silky smooth cording. Then learn how to finish the ends and add a toggle clasp to finish the look. Kumihimo Braiding is a traditional Japanese technique for braiding numerous different colours of silk to create unique colourful ropes. There are many variations that can be learned once you learn the skills in this basic class including braiding with beads which can give a very full and chunky beaded rope look or a slender pretty rope with smaller beads... but I am not going to get ahead of myself. This class is beginner Kumihimo creating a similar bracelet to the one pictured.
Class is on Saturday march 31st 1pm-4pm
Your Kit fee and class fee is combined for a total of $49
The Kumihimo wheel tool will be yours to keep so you can braid your skills to your heart's content.
